What is Secured by Design?Secured by Design was launched as a police initiative in 1989 and then re-launched in 1999 across the country. It is now a national police force initiative which supports the principles of ‘designing out crime’ and is backed by the Prime Minister, the Home Office Crime Reduction unit, the DETR and Local Government.

Our units have withstood independent testing by trained professionals using hand tools specified under the test standards.
We have obtained provisional independent attack test data indicating our CycleSpace product will achieve LPS 1175:issue 6 to SR2, which is required to achieve Secured by Design accreditation.
LPS 1175 is the Loss Prevention Standard issued by the Loss Prevention Certification Board.
